Τις Τετάρτες και Παρασκευές (γενικά) νηστεύουμε (δηλαδή τρωμε αλάδωτα φαγητά) αλλά έχουμε κάποιες διαφοροποιήσεις όταν οι παρακάτω ημέρες του μήνα «πέσουν» Τετάρτη ή Παρασκευή : ΚΑΤΑΛΥΣΙΣ ΙΧΘΥΟΣ: 7-1, 2-2, 25-3, 6-8, 15-8, 8-9, 14-11, 21-11, Κατάλυση ιχθύος επίσης την Τετάρτη της ΜεσοΠεντηκοστης, και την Τετάρτη της αποδόσεως του Πάσχα.
